a simple observation.
Many talented people want to become Virtual Assistants — but don't know where to start, who to learn from, or how to grow with confidence.

Having spent years working as a Virtual Assistant, I saw first-hand the gaps — the confusion, the lack of structure, and the loneliness that can come with trying to figure it all out on your own.
There were skills to learn, clients to find, and systems to understand — but no single space that brought it all together in a practical and supportive way.
HOW IT BEGAN
A small but intentional first step.
VA Corner began as a WhatsApp group — simple, intentional, and full of purpose. From there, it grew into periodic Zoom trainings, one-on-one sessions, and mentorship opportunities where real people were learning, asking questions, and making progress together.

Onyinye Onyejiaka
Onyinye is a Virtual Assistant who has helped over entrepreneurs and businesses stay organised, improve their operations, and reclaim their time through reliable virtual support. With more than 100 successfully completed Fiverr projects, she has built a reputation for delivering dependable, high-quality support across project management, executive assistance, business systems, and operations. Passionate about helping others succeed, she also mentors aspiring Virtual Assistants, equipping them with the practical skills and confidence to build thriving remote careers.
Mercy Adelabu
Mercy started out as an academic writer and has since built a VA career that now spans the world of bioinformatics — yes, she works with research scientists, and yes, she makes it look normal. Three years in, her speciality is admin support, journal reviews, and helping VAs put their best foot forward with CVs and cover letters that actually get responses. What she loves most about VA Corner is that it brings together VAs from completely different niches and backgrounds under one roof. Her advice to anyone overwhelmed? Keep going until you hit your goal — simple, but she means it.
Racheal Adeyemi
Rachael has spent nearly three years as a VA working with creatives, founders, and business owners — wearing every hat from Executive Assistant to Operations support and everything in between. At VA Corner, she's the one who'll answer your question before you finish asking it, and if there's a job lead with your name on it, she's sending it your way. Her advice to anyone just starting out: find your people early, because learning alone is the hard way.
