A French word meaning “to flow, pour in, or flock to.”

When a ministry begins to grow and attract more people, it’s easy to get carried away and lose focus. In the early days, when only a few people were connected to the ministry, things moved at a slow but steady pace. There was a sense of intimacy and purpose — everyone seemed aligned.

But then comes the next season — more people begin to flock in, numbers increase, and the ministry starts to gain attention. It looks like growth. There’s more money, more helping hands, and more creative ideas. Designs become sleek, visuals look modern, and everything seems to be flourishing.

Yet, when you look closely at the content, something feels off. It no longer carries the same spiritual depth. The message becomes diluted. In an effort to attract more viewers, some begin to use shallow or even inappropriate visuals — clickbait that appeals to the flesh rather than the spirit. What was once gospel-centered starts to look like a performance, lacking the presence of God.

While doing God’s work, may we not get distracted by the desire for online validation.

Dear God,

Help me not to be carried away by large numbers, views, or followers. Help me to focus on the assignment You’ve given me. Even when growth comes, keep me humble and obedient to Your voice. When I can no longer oversee everything, increase my discernment to recognize when we begin to drift from You.

For the flesh gives birth to flesh, and the Spirit gives birth to Spirit.

Lord, help me to remain rooted in You — always.
