how to keep a conversation going

How to keep a conversation going.

I recently learned that people enjoy listening to me. Somehow I manage to keep their attention even if I barely know what I am saying.

I also noticed that people assume I know stuff. Simply put they assume I have credible information on most subject matters. To be honest, I am not 100% sure of the credibility mostly because I am good at making deductions.

For instance friends often ask me about a subject matter in the US. I have never been! But I watch a lot of movies so my almost accurate responses come from my movie deductions.

My natural talent for rendering information may contribute to the reason why my stories slash facts are not taken for granted.

I guess the moral of the story is that people will believe you if you first believe your self.

What other lesson did you learn from my short story?
