Welcome to Speaking of Onyinye!

For a long time, most people who knew me online knew me through one thing: remote work.

Helping people start working remotely. Talking about virtual assistance. Sharing what I had learned from navigating the online work space.

And honestly, that chapter has been meaningful to me. I have met incredible people, had thoughtful conversations, and watched many people step into opportunities they once thought were out of reach.

But over time, something else began to occupy more of my mind.

Building products.

Not just using tools or working within systems, but thinking deeply about how products are built, why they succeed, why they fail, and what it takes to move an idea from concept to something real that people actually use.

And if I am being honest, product management has stretched me in ways I did not expect.

Some days it feels exciting — watching ideas slowly turn into real features.

Other days it feels messy — balancing expectations, solving problems that were not obvious at the beginning, and navigating the many moving parts that come with building something meaningful.

But through all of it, one thing keeps happening.

I find myself thinking about the work long after the meetings end.

Why certain products succeed. Why some teams struggle to deliver. Why good ideas sometimes fail in execution. And what it really takes to build things that last.

So this space {Speaking of Onyinye } is where I will think out loud.

Not as someone claiming to have all the answers, but as someone deeply interested in the craft of building, leading, and navigating the messy reality of creating

products.

Sometimes I will share lessons from the trenches.

Sometimes frustrations.

Sometimes quiet observations about the way products and teams evolve.

If you build things, manage products, work with teams, or simply enjoy thinking about how ideas become reality, you will probably feel at home here.

So consider this a small re-introduction.
